Questions & Answers for Newcomers

Expect to be welcomed and accepted just as you are - regardless of your attire, race, gender, or romantic status/orientation. LUMC currently offers Worship at 8:30 and 11 a.m. in our historic chapel.

Yes! We livestream on Facebook during our 8:30am services. Click here to follow us and tune in!

Of course! Our nursery is open during our 8:30 and 11a.m. services for children 4 and under. Children of all ages are welcome to stay in the sanctuary during services, and we offer activities for them there.

Sunday school and groups are offered at 9:45a.m. for everyone and gather in different classes according to age.

Without question—and if for any reason, you do not feel that is the case, please talk to us about it. If anyone does not feel welcome or accepted in our community, we feel that is our problem and we want to know about it and work to change it.

For our visitors, we don’t want you to feel like anything is expected of you. We want you to feel like our guests—and we promise not to put you on the spot while you are visiting or stalk you after you leave. What we do expect from everyone is a baseline of loving and accepting all people. We are committed to openly and lovingly journeying together.
